July revolved around one question: how does your money reach your account faster and more completely? Three updates target exactly that, from the first click in the checkout to the last defaulted installment.
All three run through your own Stripe account. No reseller, no revenue share, no third-party sender on your dunning notices. Here is what has gone live this month.
- Your customers now pay the installment plan embedded on your own page, without a redirect and therefore without drop-off.
- Defaulted installments recover themselves: an automated dunning sequence from your own address, collections in one click.
- Your entire revenue at a glance: Cash Collected, Collect Rate, MRR and a closer leaderboard.
In this update:
- Splitting: installment payments without a redirect
- Automated dunning with collections
- Owner dashboard: your revenue at a glance
1. Splitting: installment payments without a redirect
Installment payments used to be a break in the flow. The customer clicked, landed on a third-party checkout page and maybe came back. Every extra step costs you the close.
From now on, splitting runs embedded right on your payment page. The customer picks card, Klarna or PayPal and pays the first installment without ever leaving the page. It runs through your own Stripe account, no reseller in between. And if you want, the first installment starts only 30 days later.
What you get out of it:
- Fewer drop-offs, because the customer never leaves your page.
- Your revenue lands directly in your account, with no revenue share.
- With financing, CloserCart automatically enforces the digital signature, so your contract holds up in a dispute.
- The optional 30-day start removes the hurdle for the customer’s first yes.
2. Automated dunning with collections
You often notice a defaulted installment only weeks later. By then the money is hard to recover, and chasing it costs you time you don’t have.
CloserCart now monitors every one of your customers’ installments automatically. If one defaults, a dunning sequence kicks off, from your own sender address, not from a third-party brand. If the customer doesn’t respond, you hand the case off to collections in one click. Payments, status and case number sync back into the order, so you never maintain anything twice.
What you get out of it:
- Fewer defaults, without you chasing anyone yourself.
- Dunning notices come from you, not from a third-party brand.
- Collections handoff in one click, with status and case number synced back.
- In the dashboard you can see at any time which customer is at which dunning stage.
3. Owner dashboard: your revenue at a glance
How much did you really collect this month? Which closer brings in the most revenue? Until now you had to piece that together from several sources.
The new owner dashboard answers it instantly. Cash Collected, contract volume, Collect Rate, new customers and MRR, every metric with a comparison to the previous period. Every number has a time-range filter and a drilldown: click a day in the chart and you see exactly the deals behind it. Every formula has a tooltip that explains how it’s calculated. No black box.
What you get out of it:
- Your most important number, Cash Collected, sits right at the top instead of buried in a table.
- The period comparison shows you instantly whether this month is running better than the last.
- The closer leaderboard makes visible who is actually closing.
- Closers see only their own numbers, the full overview stays with you.
All three updates are live and ready to use in your account right away. Log in and take a look at the owner dashboard first, after that you’ll probably want nothing else as your home screen.
